The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

Currently on Chapter 3. Reading along with the audiobook has been fantastic. Very well done.
It's nice to be in "U2 mode" again.

Apparently Bono stopped at two NYC bookstores yesterday.

Eyes and ears folks: I need to make up for when Bono met with almost every lined up fan in San Jose except for the like 50 of us right at the front of the line. Not the GA line either, I'm not an asshole.

I got an order in on Strand last night while it was still listing autographed copies. Site was crashing all over the place. TBD if they actually fulfill it. Fingers crossed but not expecting much.

hey guys just back from the show tonight

bono just had the audiobook play in the background as he lip synched.

he performed in a little while, get out of your own way, and vertigo... twice.

he pulled amp up on stage and amp read a chapter from the book. someone was able to sneak a phone in and stream, but she just yelled OH MY GOD over everything.

can't wait for the next show

They are using those Yondr pouches to lock up phones so don't know if we'll get any audio or video.

For the Australian shows I suspect they’ll just have a bunch of kangaroos standing at the entrance instead, and make all the guests fight to get their phones back after it’s over.

Only two chapters in, but Bono is giving Bruce a real challenge for "most beautifully written autobiography."

Also, "You're The Best Thing About Me" was never going to be U2's best song, but the 'why am I walking away?' line becomes instantly more powerful and heartbreaking after reading the first chapter.

Lovely book so far a few chapters in (audiobook). Have went back and watched some old ZooTV and I&E tour again and realised how much I've missed U2 over Covid etc where I've switched off from them.

From now on, I will refer to all their albums as audiobooks. Have you heard chapter 6 of Achtung Baby? It’s called So Cruel.

You would think it’s in Ticketmaster’s best interest to not allow somebody to post prices that are absurd/shocking as not only will they not sell, but they will deter potential buyers.

Ok probably time to announce Songs of Surrender. Anything later than Friday is a missed opportunity.

There won’t be an announcement and there won’t be an album

They’ll get cold feet the songs aren’t good enough and all we’ll have is the snippets on the audiobook

It’s weird that rewritten lyrics are quoted in the book when they didn’t release the updated versions first. There are probably a lot of confused readers out there.
Stories For Boys is totally different.

“He starts to think, he starts to cry ‘oh why?’” is so much better than “the gift of grief will bring a voice to life.” It’s interesting that the new version of I Will Follow is similar to Lillywhite’s first mix with the prominent acoustic guitar.

They need to get whoever does management and marketing for Taylor Swift. Pretty flawless. Of course she probably isn't as self-sabotaging as U2

I found myself singing along in my head to that one and it confused the hell out of me.

Our copies of the book have arrived today which we got with the Glasgow tickets.

I still can't get over how good the audiobook is. They should be shouting about this from the rooftops.
