ATYCLB is a difficult one for me. I give props for Beautiful Day, although not my fave U2 song, it contains one of my top 3 U2 songs - Kite, and I really love When I look at The World, and New York is great. Never was a huge Walk On fan, and then the album is weighed down by POE, and Grace, and then some middle of the road stuff - Wild Honey, In a Little While...

I feel that Bono's vocals on ATYCLB are very raw (not on Top notch form) as he was on BOMB ; i.e In A Little While, When I Look At The Word...his voice cracks here and there on a few numbers.

I wonder if it's because he was recovering from his Throat surgery during the sessions ?

32 hours to Apple event.. RED iPhone? With pre-loaded new U2 album. Shipping one week from tomorrow. Single "Sirens" available tomorrow right away in iTunes. Album in iTunes and stores in 2-4 weeks. How great would this be

not sure I totally agree with this. He could have had permission to play it just once as a staged "oops" type of thing. just playing it once is enough to get the hype train in motion.
