One closing Montreal 2 was my favorite closing song of the four shows there that I saw. Much better than Still Haven't Found, and better than 40.

Also agree with others here -- it's my favorite version of One in awhile. Something about it just feels right.

To me it felt weak . People said the same thing on 360 tour and I didn't hear it then, but I was very glad that of the three shows I saw in LA, only one of them contained One.

To each their own, gang.

I think I'm just focusing more on the communal sing-along feel of it, rather than how the instruments sound. It did feel like they were still feeling it out a bit at the first few shows. Didn't listen to it on the feed last night.

But it's the sentiment behind it as the closer I love. :)

I like a big mass singalong. Nice shared moment. Chalk at least one into the "Hey, I Like This Tour's One" column.

Pearl Jam has done this with Better Man for the past couple of tours, and I always love the effect of having a song so universally known by everyone in the crowd, die hard and casual alike, that the crowd can sing and the singer can sit back and listen appreciatively.

That's what I'm assuming the point with One is right now... but I haven't seen it in person yet so I can't tell for sure.

If that is what it's like, I can't wait to see it.

I'm just surprised this is such a big focus. Honestly, by the time One started, I was so amazed by the entire show that I thought it was a nice touch. The crowd was so into it too.

I've seen One so many times that it's not going to have a huge effect on my either way, but in no way did I think it sucked. I do feel really bad for the people that weren't there and hated the performance though. Hopefully you all get refunds.

. I was just arguing on the side of the people who did see it live was all. Obviously it DIDN'T MATTER. I had a GREAT time and it really, really was fine.

You just had to throw a parting shot in there.

Just because I disliked 5 minutes of a 2 1/2 hour show, that doesn't mean I'm begging for a refund. It's possible to enjoy 90% of something U2 does.

Oh I'm just fucking around. Lol

My goodness is Bullet good, you guys. Also, the start of the show really sets the stage. So energetic.

I love how much I dislike bullet in general, and yet it's my favorite thing in the universe right now.

I'm 300 times more excited for Bullet than I thought I'd be.

Count me in as loving One this tour, it felt less dirgey than last tour. I just think it's a weird closer. The real stars of the show are Bullet and UTEOTW. Bullet is incendiary and the staging for UTEOTW is my favorite use of the screen.

I'm also still trying to figure out why Pride sounds so much better on this tour too. It's not like they're playing it differently. Maybe just more energy.

Speaking of the communal feel, I also like how often the house lights come up (Or maybe it's just other lights that brighten the whole arena to make it feel like house lights). Like in Invisible, and other parts of the show.

Like Springsteen bringing up the house lights so everyone can see everyone else rocking the fuck out and singing along to Born To Run.

I dig it.

For Bono literally just coming out of his coma a week before the tour started I feel like this is the most polished, and well-prepared performance and presentation the band has put on in a while.

Bono actually goes back into his coma whenever there's at least a two-day break between shows.

True fact.

Agree- it makes the crowd feel like part of the show. Another step towards breaking down the fourth wall.
