Thanks, Peterrrrrr. SFS was actually the one I wanted to hear most, hope it's up soon.

Angel of Harlem sounded wonderful. The added organ, guitar solos and more prominent Edge backing vocals made for a great arrangement. The Roots knocked it out of the park.

Damn, Angel of Harlem was so good (haven't heard the others yet, seems like they're good too), reminded me why I love this band. I find it ironic that it was during a time in their career that they were criticized for being too serious, earnest and "fake" in their attempts to adopt American culture that they wrote some of their most fun and genuine songs (Angel of Harlem, Desire etc.).

Myself i dont mind R&H the movie. Some of the best live versions of some songs are on there.

In hindsight having Song For Someone + Angel of Harlem would've been so much better than Beautiful Day + Song For Someone, though the latter may have made more sense beforehand. Not only was it the two best and most inspired performances, it was also kinda awkward starting off with Jimmy holding up the cover and advertising the new album and then it's like "nah, it's this old hit you've been overexposed to. Oh, and we've done nothing different with it; it's basically the studio version. Enjoy!"

So many people out there believe that the anthemic sounds of BD, Pride and WOWY is all there is to U2, when there is so much more. Angel of Harlem was really special, and I'm not so sure everyone has heard (enough) of that side of their music. Everyone already knows the Beautiful Day-side of U2.

Wow, such positive feedback on all the performances....I haven't seen any of it yet but I'm really excited(waiting for it to show up on demand, so I can watch it on the TV).

Where did they show the stage for the tour? A lot in here were go
Ing nuts for it and now I must see it too!

I can't get enough of this Angel of Harlem performance. Absolutely amazing!

It's actually a shame this wasn't included in the show. It would've started trending online with articles like, "Watch U2's amazing performance of Angel of Harlem with The Roots on The Tonight Show"...

I wish they played Stuck acoustic and In A Little While instead of AOH and BD.
Would've been quite a thrill to see those two paired with SFS. Wow. Getting chills just imagining how much that would jack up the crowd.

Anybody else notice that Busking Edge lampooned Bono's Dr Robert persona?

Edge has the Bono look from the Womanfish performance. Maybe it's a sign! They're bringing it back fellas. I just know it.

Agree, but this is also why I love U2. Just another hidden gem for hard core fans to discover. So weird that they seem to try so hard to make it to radio or be "relevant", yet for 35 years now, some of their VERY best stuff is never released or seen/heard by anyone other than a relative few.

With internet these days, nothing ever stays completely hidden. Guess I like remember collecting and trading bootlegs back in the '80's. I was never a huge fan of AOH but that performance brought me out of hibernation here. So wish I could have been there...another example of the very lucky few. But I have been a part of the lucky few several times...great memories.

I thought Angel of Harlem was far past its time, but this?

I guess Angel of Harlem just got CPR thanks to the Roots
