um, those performances are all really good.

keep it up, Boner. this is the best your voices has sounded since 1994.

also, can we give the edge some fucking props for completely transcribing all those guitar parts to piano and playing them? that's pretty cool.

i could go on and on about how cool this is.

Last night was very enjoyable. EBW obviously stole the show but I thought all the songs sounded great despite my initial reservations about this whole acoustic thing.

Really nice relaxed atmosphere too. U2 and Jo were like two old friends catching up.

I´m surprised to say that, but STUCK sounded the best I´ve ever heard. Awesome job by Edge on piano.

Every breaking wave was great also, but I´m still waiting for full electric band.

Miracle and Cedarwood weren´t bad acoustic, but these are the weakest spots on the record, so there you go...
Is it only me, or the drum pattern for Song for someone feels weird?

Bono sang very well all the songs, he only screwed up with Fool to cry
Cedarwood Road the weakest spot on the album?! Wow....

I quite enjoyed those songs, but it's time for some electric performances by now. Bono sounded very good!

I'll echo what everyone else has been saying, but . . .

Holy shit, Every Breaking Wave.

Yes. Apparently this is why we had to go through some rough performances in less visible European markets- so they could get a couple of takes under their belts and step into the BBC ready to give that performance.

They've just played Out of Control. Bono and Edge are in the studio now, talking about that song and how they started out as a band. I think the chat was recorded yesterday.

Talking about Songs of Experience a lot. Bono starts out by confusing both albums  Goes on to cite lyrics from the song The Morning after Innocence, says it's about his younger self talking to his older self, asking him for help. Says SOE is about the "present tense". Both records are set to correspond with each other.

Playing THE TROUBLES now

Bono said he opened for Bill Murray's band The Venetian Blinds at Clooney's wedding but was fired by Bill afterwards
