This reminds me a bit of Boy Falls From The Sky, with an electronic influence.

Favorite part on first listen is when the smoke clears, they transition into the "There is no them" part, and the second "them" Bono really savors and sounds smiley. He sounds kind of young and happy throughout... really hits the vibe

Also, guys I think Dangermouse is the guy.

This is definitely the biggest departure musically since Achtung Baby. Sure, ATYCLB was very different from Pop, but it was more of a return to the kind of songs they made in the 80's with modern influences.

This is TOTALLY different. And on first listen it sounds really great. I imagine some fans would feel conflicted at first, but I truly feel this song is going to go down really well with most people, not only those who are already fans. Now for second listen!

I would like to draft Dangermouse a heartfelt and consolational thank-you and apology.

This has that 80's spark Arcade Fire's "Reflektor" went for, except, unlike most places on Reflektor, it actually has 80s space.

Of course, that hinges on if this song fits in with the rest of the album, or if it's an outlier like Boots and Vertigo were.

Well, there's no good excuse to not release this fucking album. You can't tease us with this and then keep pushing the album back all over the place.

It has a City of Blinding Lights vibe...but this is better....more passion.

I can see people doing a sing out at the end of it.... like "40".

got it on repeat, lucky for me i'm working all afternoon, locked up in my office, with my headphones on :D

I'm a little let down. I bet it will be great live because there are amazing parts to it. The chorus and the 2nd half are awesome, its just the first half with the weak drum loop and synth bass that aren't doing it for me.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using U2 Interference mobile app

I haven't listen to the song yet but if the song is truely great imagine the first single the band is excited for

Yeah. Yeah.

We know your well-produced coherently fresh vibe+80s vibes album is out there now, dudes.

This song makes me so happy. U2 are fucking back.

Also, my fourteen year old brother says "Wow this is good thanks".
