I wouldn't want to win the internet because then I win Nick and Schloop.
Axver said:Sorry Jive, I just had to pick up on this even if I'm late to the party. Normally I don't give a shit what people eat, but I frankly don't understand pescetarianism. Besides all the various inconsistencies it immediately raises between fish and any other meat (and of which you are evidently aware), the commercial fishing industry is easily the most destructive meat industry on the planet. Now if you're just eating fish you caught or that have been otherwise harvested in some sort of sustainable way, then I'll return to my usual habit of giving zero shits, but ask any marine biologist and they'll tell you how commercial fishing fleets are raping the oceans in the most horrendous manner.
My girlfriend the marine biologist almost goes into a blind rage about pescetarianism, so that might have rubbed off on me a bit over the last few years.
Incidentally, much as I love meat and in particular would struggle to live without bacon, 'roo, or chicken in my life, I'd probably go vegetarian in a second if I had to actually kill the animal myself. I'm aware of the hypocrisy there.
Who comes to someone's house for dinner and asks for a steak?
Screw steak, I want him to cook an entire side of beef for me. I demand it of you, JT.
He also called another time (as a 911 call not a transfer), his complaint being he wanted to go to the ER cos some hooker gave him crabs.
If the hooker was Lance's Mom I'd say he got off easy.
You win the Internet for the first week of march. Treat yo self!
I like Every Morning.
I've seen that before and it is painfully true.
Sometimes they have the local top 40 station on where my mom works, and according to her, they STILL play that song on regular rotation. Even though it's well over ten years old.
Absolutely. I've experienced that situation far more times than I care to count.

Spin doctors two princes. That song will still be the most baffling to me, as to how it still gets such frequent airplay. After the nuclear apocalypse, the remaining cockroaches and twinkies (well, I guess not the twinkies, but you know...) will be forced to listen to it on an endless loop as it will be the only song that survives.

I wish there was more on the magnetic fields' i album I really liked, outside of "I wish I had an evil twin," the first three tracks are really all I want to listen to. Although I could put "I don't believe you" and "I don't really love you any more" on a loop for the rest of my shift and be quite happy. Fucking love those two songs.
Edit: ok, add "if there's such a thing as love" to the list of awesomeness. Kind of forgot about that one.
Just out of interest, isn't it extremely difficult to be a vegan? From what I know about it, that's not much I admit, it seems you can barely eat anything as a vegan.
Will Keith Richards play it as he will be the only living being outside of cockroaches to survive?
Picturing Keef sitting by a fire, eating Twinkies in between takes of "Two Princes" on his guitar surrounded by a horde of cockroaches, most of who say "I can't understand a damn word that dude is singing."
I decided today that my two favorite songs by them are Swinging London and All the Umbrellas in London. Dude needs to make a concept album.
