Zooropa Discussion (AKA We're Gonna Tweet Out Loud)

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Considering they're comparing it to PopMart, and considering the treatment of said tour's central album on 360...yeeeeeeeeeeah, don't get to attached to Zooropa, folks.

But that comment said they DIDN'T react in the same way they were expecting (kind of).

They were expecting the Pop stare. They got a sea of cell phone screens instead. And they (Or Willie) noted the trending on Twitter.

Attention has been paid.

*whew*
Willie, thank you for noticing the online community response.
Seconded. In the unlikely event that you are reading this, Willie, thanks for encouraging the band to try all these crazy rarities live. I know we tend to give U2's setlists a bit of crap, but, really, this has been an awesome tour for all of us, and we've had the time of our lives following along. God bless ya. :hi5:

They should bring back Hawkmoon 269! Now that would be something wonderful

I want Grace and Red Light!

Man. I'm so incredibly happy with this setlist right now. I came back from my study trip after being off the internet for nearly two weeks to find that BOTH Ialw has been dropped AND it's ben replaced by fucking zooropa? BRILLIANT!

Oh and EBTTRT opening? :fuckyeah:

yeah, yeah, way late..........

lost my Net at home so not as
easy to be here
I finally had the time to look at
the vids

as for Zooropa.... the fact that I couldn't afford to see the later Zooropa shows....

and fell absolutely in love with song Zoorpa as it was played on the radio ( i didn't have the $ for the recording either)...

Meant/means I never heard it live (if they ever played it live) so I was even more floored to hear it!
The melody, edge's guitar, B's singing etc

and Zooropa is in my top 10 U2 songs and in top 10 or 15 of my all-time fave R&R songs so ...

fuck yeah. sooo exciting! :hyper:

Do you have another study trip coming up? Soon???

What hole did you crawl out of?

Long time no see

 And no. Sorry to dissapoint you but I won't be leaving until early july to see a certain Irish band on the other side of the pond. So hope that'll be a good omen for the Montreal shows!
