I'm not 100% sure I'll even be able to purcahse them myslef, hopefully the fiancée can. I hope everything goes smoothly.

Perth has been separated into Seats and GA as well.

Best of luck to you, and to everyone else! Can't wait until tomorrow night when we can all discuss tomorrow's proceedings

I just looked on the ticketek website - will there be a section for the presale? im guessing it wont show up till tomorrow? im panicking that ill get it all wrong - ive written down my codes, i guess there will be a box that you type your code into?

Being a Collingwood supporter, I'm extremely pessimistic....but I hope you're right :)

You'd be suprised.
For example, Im at the end of Year 12 (formal on monday, twas excellent) and only about 1/6 of the year actually like U2, a large percentage of them being the "Vertigo! Elevation! The best U2 songs!" types.
It felt a bit strange, finding out that no one really knew/liked them as much as me.
In the end, I suppose its a good thing, especially ticket-buying wise.
But then you get those crazy scenesters..
(Theres no way Gods mean enough to allow them GA tickets. Fucking hell..)
$40 Crappy Seats = (SAS) Scenester Allocated Seats

Same here birdman barely anyone in my year level likes them at all. They always have those pathetic insults "bono sucks" blah blah blah and don't have a clue how wrong they are I guess, quite frustrating.

Anyway I have some mates who the whole year have mocked U2 to no end, now have decided it would be "so awesome" to go with me to a concert, and are expecting me to buy them tickets tomorrow? get out! I showed them the rose bowl dvd today at school and they were constanlty laughing and insulting it and obviously they're taking the you know out of them.

Any tips for how I can sort of say "I don't want to go to one of the most awesome nights ever for me with you just because" in a nice way because I know going with non fans who have declared they 'hate' the band is absolute disaster.

I KNOW I KNOW VERY OFF TOPIC GUYS BUT IT'S REALLY BUGGING ME SORRY :shifty:

i'd roll with "nah, fuck ya if you won't enjoy it".

just say no and let people who aren't tools (at least, tools about u2) get tickets.

True, it annoys me that they are trying to get tickets just to have a laugh when we are here stressing like mad and people they would be probably taking the space of true fans. thanks for the advice mate

Mate... It's YOUR fucking purchase decision.
Please dont tell me your passive enough to go through with that shit.
If YOUR not comfortable with buying them tickets, thats reason enough.
But still you have to be courteous and shit so just say *sigh*.. you dont have to say anything.
You can avoid them for 1 day right?
Just sorta go, woops, soz guys and dont buy tickets for them.
a) They KNOW they're being assholes
b) What can they do... honestly.

Moral: Your not happy with it, dont do it.

nath, i was in the same position as you mate. 95% of my mates hate U2, but i stopped letting it bother me years ago. they don't get it, i don't give a fuck. there's no way in hell i'd go with them to the concert, they'd ruin it. i'd say no flat out.

good thing i palmed this presale business off to someone else, i don't have to worry :D

nah seriously good luck everyone. i know we're not all Benny C and can afford six day coke binges.

i totally hear you. i remember back when i saw them for popmart, none of my friends wanted to come with me because u2 weren't cool enough back then , but a couple of them took much pleasure in letting me know they were going and had better seats than me. but they were going for the opener and leaving. one of them even signed my yearbook "u2 sucks". whatever, they're idiots for thinking something like that's important enough to constantly tease someone about.

i'd just say i didn't have the money to buy tickets or i already found someone to go with or something, personally.

What? so now I have 3 presale codes? But I think it's valid for the first presale because it starts with 3U2B and it still says my priority group is Breathe? Oh well not a bad thing!

Good luck for the NZ'ers in 4 minutes if I'm correct? I think I might click through to have a look and practice before 11am here.

Yeh i just checked and they have updated me to have 3 codes now too, this is great and i can save one for hopefully a second pre sale for Melbourne 2 show. good luck to every1. Nervous times

Yeah I figured I'd take the chance and save it for what I hope will be presales for any extra shows! So everything worked smoothly NZ'ers?

Same for me. It took longer to register to the site.

If you are buying tickets in the next group or in the general sale, would be a good idea to registe ahead of time.

Okay its 7:33am here in Perth and Im already at work and have turned on 3 computers - mine, a spare just in case, and a spare just in case in case. lol

1.5 hours until Syd/Mel/Bris go on sale. :hyper: :imnotinsane:
