While I disagree with pretty much everything that Maradona has done, he seems to be right in not playing these "friendly" matches a week before the World Cup. I'd say he's a (crystal) star, but not THE star. I think that Van Persie and Sneijder are more important for the team than Robben. But yeah, it is a major blow, because he's a very creative player. As long as he isn't injured.

If Australia v England becomes a reality, all Australians living in London will need to immediately register their exact residential location with the consulate, because should the absolutely unthinkable happen and Australia wins, they're going to need to airlift you off the roof of your apartment building and get you to a neutral country pretty fucking quickly. Of all the countries on earth that could potentially knock them out, the natives will absolutely not stand for it being Australia.

I must say, due to public viewing my interest in watching games has increased. Will be watching on Sunday with some great company. And the good thing is, I wouldn't be sad if Australia won.
