Philadelphia Grand Jury. Was ok.

Now I don't know what to do. I could...:gasp: go to bed...

I'm wholly unfamiliar. I was going to watch the video posted earlier but I forgot.

What a silly notion. You've an Axver to keep out of top spot on this thread.

Good point. Well, I'm relistening to Lady Gaga's new album sorta, when that's done, I'll finally listen to some Y Kant Tori Read, adn then...Mumford & Sons.

Mmm, souvlaki for dinner.

I cannot wait for your option on Y Kant Tori Read.

Alison bought that Mumford & Sons album and seems to like it. Sent me one song. I thought it was ... well, a bit crap really!

I'm pretty excited myself honestly.

Someone in here said it was one of their favorite albums of the year the other day. Danny? Don't remember.

Anyyways, I listened to a couple songs on it, and...I'm smitten.

Oh yeah, I remember that. Don't remember who it was at all!

Alison sent me Little Lion Man. I don't know, it was all banjo-y and anti-Axver. Not that I'm anti-banjo. Just the whole vibe was wrong.

I'm usually pretty bluegrass, which, this album is labled on last.fm as bluegrass/folk, but what I heard felt more oldish celtic than anything else, and I enjoyed that greatly.

Who knows, we'll see.

Yeah, you can imagine bluegrass and I are just about polar opposites.

Also, "Mumford & Sons" - contender for worst band name of the year? I THINK SO.

And holy shit, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall was just doing some RESPECTABLE FOOD EXPERIMENTS with strawberries. I'm going to do them ALL tomorrow. Plus Ax, he made jam, and it's much easier than I thought! I'm gonna make berry jam. Mmmmm.

Charlotte!

Do go on about this berry-related food experimental goodness. And yes, jam is surprisingly easy! You just need a sufficiently large pot, and jars to store it in.

Ok, so I've had a craving for chocolate-dipped strawberries for days and am going to make them tomorrow, but also plan on the following:

-Strawberries, Parma ham and mint.
-Strawberries and peanut butter
-Strawberry sandwiches with sugar and black pepper (have been making these for years but SO DAMN GOOD)
-Strawberries and mushroom
-Smoked strawberry

And he made strawberry daiquiri, which is my favourite drink EVER (got so fucked-up on them in Dublin!)

Oh my God. Tori Amos wasn't JUST in an 80s band. She was in an 80s band.

The opening to that video rivals the video for "I'm On Fire" for ridiculous story lines.

Also, I love how the Marilyn Monroe skirt stayed for the whole video. I Thought it was just going to be a quick funny shot. But then it just got ridiculous.

Oh and that fake plastic sword :lmao:

Wow, these sound epic. I'm trying to figure out how strawberries can possibly go with black pepper.

And chocolate dipped strawberries are one of the best things ever. Why have I not got my act together and done that yet? :lazy:

.... This defies all food logic.

I keep being tempted by choc strawberries in the Spanish doughnut shop...

Also, Mumford & Sons FTW.

(They nearly became known as Mumford % Sons, because I can't type.)

It could be worse though. Of all the songs to get stuck in your head, I'd be pretty content with this'n
