sdunn, I take it you too will not be braving downtown Atlanta tonight for the Sir Paul McCartney concert?

No! I hear the traffic is going to be more brutal than usual. Which you know is pretty bad. I hate driving downtown with all the stupid construction.

Anything with chocolate will satisfy my sweet tooth...

try this one on for size then

(asked in my local bottlo for chocolate beer and i think the fellow behind the counter thought I'd inhaled a plate or two of 'special' brownies  )

Yeah. I was happy with Swiss/French food tbh. I guess it takes some time to adapt, who knows. And I can always choose to go back early next year!

But you have to see my concert calendar for the remainder of the year!

Ah the food was good too. Though strangely enough I ended up eating mostly pasta this holiday.

 You can come back???? For the next Euro Tour???

True. You're getting U2 + Muse. :envy:

 I neeeeeeed some of that stuff!!!!

NG wikipedia
Chocolate stout
Chocolate stout is a name brewers sometimes give to certain stouts. The name "Chocolate stout" is usually given because the beers have a noticeable dark chocolate flavour through the use of darker, more aromatic malt; particularly chocolate malt — a malt that has been roasted or kilned until it acquires a chocolate colour. Sometimes, as with Young's Double Chocolate Stout, and Rogue Ales' Chocolate Stout the beers are also brewed with a small amount of real chocolate.[31][32]

I was very close to buying a ticket last night and then a friend of mine talked me out of it. I can't imagine how awful the traffic is down there.

I did Stub Hub on ebay the day before the Green Day concert. Got them for less than face value. Pretty Sweet!

No, while they're waiting in line, like Miri first joked about.

This is my last setlist party until the boys hop the pond. AND I can only stay for another hour.

*guilty secret . . . I want them to stay in europe forever cuz the time zone diffs are much better for me . . .when they hit the US I'll miss it all doing the school pick up / after school activity / homework thing :scream: *

Edit . . . I actually want them to hurry up and confirm that their butts will be heading my way next year :hyper: but that's a whole different story

I would imagine you would have a better shot at unearthing it - european sensibilities tend to be a little more open minded about unusual food /drink combinations . . . I'm thinking I may have to head south to Melbourne to unearth some of this . . . :hmm:

Well, chocolate + stout is usually a good combination. Why not put them togheter!

And I eat pretty much anything. Well, no milk choc nor caramel, cause it makes me vomit. But besides, there's not much I wouldn't try. Just cat and dog I refuse permanently.

I can, but it's probably wise to continue here. We'll see how we adapt...

U2 + Muse will be

And I'm seeing Animal Collective in the park in less than 3 hours! :hyper:

Ah, true true. Well maybe a holiday? :hmm:

:envy: :envy: :envy:

Oh nice! :D Have fun!

This is such a Neil McCormick thing to do::ohmy:
neil_mccormick#U2 asked Anthony Hegarty of The Hours what it was like to be a stadium support band playing to tens of thousands who don't care ...

neil_mccormick#U2 Anthony Hegarty said "It's easy. You make them care." Good answer9 minutes ago from TwitterBerry

Genius idea . . . I am gonna do it . . . yayness :)

cat and dog :yikes:

.

That is not a gesture, that is rehearsing :)

A real gesture would be to let the first 200 in the stadium and let everyone enjoy the soundcheck. To hear DM vaguely and becomming excited to find out that htey dont play it is rather a dissapointment :)

They could also do what the stones have done during their huge stadiumtour couple of years ago. play smaller venues in between and change it up there. those shows were fantastic because not a lot of people were there and the setlist was different.

but anyway

HERE WE GO!
