I didn't see a thread like this yet, but I thought it'd be interesting to talk about who- if anyone- we're going with on our fabulous experiences!

I've got tickets for 9/12 Chicago, and I'm bringing one of my best friends, Alex. I've known him for about 11 years from my church back home. He's the only one of my real good friends who likes U2. I actually introduced him to U2, which is one of my greatest accomplishments of my young life. Me and him went to see U2 last time around in Chicago in May 2005 also.

What about you?

I'm going to both Chicago shows with fellow U2 fans from this site.

Assuming I go to Vegas, I'll go with fellow U2 fans from this site.

I'm going alone to Vancouver but am hoping to meet up with fellow U2 fans from this site. :)

I'm taking my girlfriend of two years this month :) to her first U2 concert on 9/20, then I am seeing all the others myself where she is a casual fan who goes to college, I am diehard willing to travel ha.

Interference poster wenda for Toronto 1 and 2

and probably my father for Boston 2.. he's never seen them :cute:

And sense I'll be alone for most of the shows, hope to meet a lot of ya in Jersey 1 and 2! It was awesome meeting people on Vertigo in Jersey, seeing them again in Boston and again months later, everyone remembering each other. I remember two ladies who helped my friend and I get tix for Boston 3 when GA's sold out and we didn't have enough for reserved after waiting 14 hours, they were amazing. I saw them again at Boston 4 and it was a cool experiance. It's great knowing there are diehards out there who see more than one show, it's like a big U2 family.

With some people from here, and hoping to take the girlfriend if everything works out well :hyper:

Assuming they announce the dang Vegas show, I'm going with beegee from here and most likely meeting up with others from here as well.

Whenever they decide to actually play in a city near me, I will probably go with my bf who is a fan but not a diehard like me.

most of my friends think Bono is an arrogant twat and U2s music is shit... so, alone.

Assuming I get tickets for Vancouver I'll be bringing one of my good friends. He's wanted to see them for a few years so why not. Also my brother and his girlfriend will be going too, assuming they're able to get tickets.

For Toronto I'm bringing one of two friends. I've known both for 20 years so it just up to them. Whoever commits first gets to come.

New York is the important one for me. I have a friend who I've looked at as so much more than a friend over the last 9 years. I really want her to come to New York with me. You know how you love sharing the things you love with the most important people to you. Well that's this. U2 concerts are amazing and I want to be in that space and be able to look over and see her there with me. Sounds cheesy but that's how it is. The concert could be anywhere but I choose New York as the place to invite her. We'll see. She's still deciding.

Phew. There's a little bit of me for ya

Chicago 2 with my wife, my two sisters, bro-law, brother, his girlfriend, and one other person to be determined.

Toronto 2, alone...until I get there, when of course I will meet lots of new friends from Interference!!!! That's it so far but still hoping for Vegas, and several more shows in 2010. (Hi future friends!)

Going to Toronto 1 with my wife and 16 year-old son. This will be our second time seeing them (first was Vertigo Montreal 2).

Fun thread... I went to a lot of shows alone last tour, but then again I was in NYC so going alone to MSG is kind of fun when you can walk home.

My wife will be going with me to London shows as she wanted to go on vacation and I wanted to see U2 in Europe as I've never done that before and feels like a cool experience. But she's not a big fan.

I usually just buy 2 seats and figure it out later... not great for the wallet, but no one ever commits ahead of time.

Last 2 tours, I've paid for every ticket. I love U2 so much, it's fun to treat a friend to a show.

I could care less if I went alone. I may have to for DC since my friend may have another commitement she can't get out of. There will be enough people from here I can hangout with

I'm going to Vancouver with a dear, dear friend from off the boards. We've been like family since we were 6 and 7 years old, and though she's only a (very!) casual friend (as in, listened to 2 albums the whole way through, and knows a few odd songs otherwise  ), she's braving the GA line for me. I'm trying to get her educated about the band as much as possible before the show, for her sake of course.

Hopefully I'll also be meeting up with some of my awesome Interference friends there! Yay - come and find me! :hyper:

I'll be going to the Rose Bowl and taking three of my four kids, my 24 y/o son, my 17 y/o son, and my 15 y/o daughter for GA seats. I'm also hoping for a Vegas show too, so I can take my other daughter who's 23. *crossing fingers*

Hubby isn't going. He likes them, but not enough to put in the work for a GA experience. I demand enthusiasm and no complaigning while on U2 quests, so it's better for everyone if he skips it. :)

She already answered but myself and alison0313 will be attending both Toronto shows. Hopefully Vegas too!

 U2 is my favorite band and because a friend can't go doesn't mean I should have to miss out too

Laura...that's exactly my feeling! Life is short, live it to the fullest! Don't ever let going alone to something stop you from going! I learned that the hard way during my first marriage. (P.s. My oldest daughter is named Laura)

No kidding! I see Josh Groban alone because none of my friends will go. SCREW THAT! I go and I love it lol.:hyper:

Going with my best friend to the Vancouver show, and hopefully meeting up with some friends from here.

Should Vegas ever be announced, both of us will be there, and we'll hopefully be sharing accommodation with other lovely Interferencers, and meeting up with lots of you too!
