CT is my favourite track on the album! I'd been waiting for that song since the little blurb in the Q Magazine preview website... :heart: :love: How can anyone bitch about it?

I bought it - I figured if they put it on the single it was okay :lol: That was the closest I got to caving (since NLOTH2 is about twice the speed and somewhat different to NLOTH on the album) before I bought the album :wink: Was really weird on the 3rd going from NLOTH2 (which was playing in my discman when I went to change to the album) to NLOTH... it's a bit of a sharp transition :lol:

Found out last night that part of the problem may have been that TD (a major bank here) employees got presale codes as well.. from the first day! :madwife: That's not u2.com's fault - strictly Skydome, since TD is a major advertiser for Jays games - but it still pisses me off. I paid for my :censored: membership, it's not too much to expect I would have a reasonable chance for GAs the second morning of the presale!

Oh well, can get to public sale on computer at work, so still have good shot at my GA :wink:

Arenas would be nice, but I've given up on that for this tour too. The stadium in my city isn't ideal, as the sound isn't that great, but I'm holding out hope that they'll have improved the sound by then, as there will be some major world-wide events held there that they should have good sound for (Opening/Closing ceremonies for the Olympics)!

oh come on, wtf are you angry for? The guy did a stupid thing yes, he didn't read properly, but it was a mistake. He didn't do it on purpose at all!
Be glad that Ticketmaster still shows some humanity to their customers. I'm happy for the guy, especially since his flight and hotel and everything was already booked!
And he didn't get any more tickets than the limit anyway, so there's not much of a difference if he'd bought 4 for one date and traded 2 for the other.

Apparently according to EYKIW it's U2 by numbers, it's boring, not experimental, too poppy, too radio friendly :blahblah:

Fuck that. It's NOT U2 by numbers. it's Bono and Edge by numbers, but wtf, I HAVE FREAKIN TROUBLE learning that riff because it's got all these extra things in it and the drums are also very un-Larry. They're varying and not a standard 4/4th rhythm!

:rolleyes: But yeah, nothin' much you can do I guess.. To each their own.
 
I'm appreciating Crazy Tonight more every time I hear it... it was the only track I wasn't sure about at first, and it's growing on me. I cannot believe how much I love this album.

Going for Dublin III in 10 mins... :uhoh:

I'm trying to win a trip to see U2 in Barcelona. :crack: They're playing the contest every 1/2 hour. Only problem is that I have to get some work done today! :lol: Keeping my fingers crossed I can get through when it's time to call!

A local radio station is having a radio contest today giving away U2 tickets. But don't know if they're GA's or not and I had more than enough stress with radio contests this month lol.

All the major radio stations in my area will have contests for tickets to the Vancouver show starting on Monday, but this Barcelona trip would be super cool. I just found out that the online stream has a 30 second delay, and that's my only way of listening. I may be SOL, but I'm still gonna try. :yes:

Yup. :laugh: It's a bit insane. I would assume that since the stations are having contests starting on Monday that the date is official. They wouldn't be giving out tickets if it wasn't a for sure thing.
 
In a 3 way trade I got Dublin 3. There was a little stress involved, but it worked out.
 
I was considering getting a 2nd membership for a Boots code but I just found out that I didn't get the summer school job I applied for. Buggery Hell!!!!!

On the upside, I'll be home all summer, maybe I"ll be able to win a radio contest :rolleyes: I'm actually thinking about applying for a part time job at a bookstore or something, just to hold me over financially. DAMNIT!!! I was counting on that money.
