Yeah, I was not a NLOTH virgin for long, but I still kept checking things out in here

I ordered the box set online from Barnes & Noble because of they had a great sale price and additional discounts for members. I became a member ($25 a year) for that benefit. Maybe Best Buy, Borders, Barnes & Noble or other stores with member programs will have the box set at a reduced price.

I've only heard magnificent......cos it was live on the bbc rooftop thing......but it doesn't count cos it was live right? It was good though, I'm excited to hear it on the album now

I know that I wanna hear it for the first time on my stereo downstairs and that I enjoy the excitement and hype of going to the record store on the release date and bringing it home and hearing it entirely on my good stereo. That is just how I feel....And I'm sure a lot of others still holding out feel the same way

I must confess I did listen to Bomb online before it came out, and there were not many surprises left when I bought the cd...except for Fast Cars...hadn't heard that one yet.

I want this one to blow my mind.....All That You Can't Leave Behind had heard only snippets from u2.com before it came out so only had an idea of what it might sound like...I remember driving around in my car that night after buying it at midnight madness at the record store (my birthday) and listening to it.....twice. I remember being swept away by Kite and others and thinking this was how U2 needed to sound at the moment. That will always be a special U2 album to me.

I have a feeling these songs will also fit perfectly into this particular stage of my life.

So, I am looking at 3-3-09 as kind of a holiday. New sounds, new colors
