What do you think the t-shirts/merchandise will be like?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I'd like to get a tshirt with just the equals logo on it. It would be like my Zootopia shirt (which I am wearing now, even though I don't actually post on Zootopa, but just have it for the Zoo reference) where people come up to me all day and ask me what it means... for the Zootopia shirt, I typically say "Zoo TV is whatever you want it to be!"

I'm sure one of them will be a black shirt with the white "U=2" up and down design they have. Or white with grey/black.

my fave was my One shirt...with the "smell the flowers...." then a pic of the buffalos...and at the bottom ..."while you can"...with One written in 16 languages on the back! had to get rid of it got a rip it in it...always used to find in the summer if I was wearing it and walk past a woman, she would be kinda reading it as we walked past each other... and give me a smile...I gotta get it again! lol

I'd actually would like a simple black tshirt, or even navy, with the grey = sign on it. And on the back the U=2 logo.
:hmm: It would also work on a white tshirt now I think of it.

You know concert shirts are really getting out of hand when KOL were charging $40 a shirt. When I saw that last October I just shook my head.

Keep it real U2 with $20-$30 prices.

Oh my gosh, YES. Or maybe with the U=2 logo on the front with dates on the back...:drool::drool:

40 freaking dollars for a shirt?
:crack:

Tour Merchandise at Shows

Looked through the Tour Forum, and haven't found anything about this yet...

Among the stuff that is all ready available on U2.com, and what to expect at the shows, what else do you think the merchandise stands will offer this year?

Also, I see a hoody that I would love to buy to wear at Soldier Field, but I'm hesitant to buy because I don't know if there will be anything better at the show.

However, the hoody on the website is only $50.00, where at the shows they would easily be $75-100. Should I just jump on the one on the website?

If you like it buy it! You'll have the months before the show to wear it, and you're right about it not being cheaper at the show. In case you need it, use this 25% off:

Thank you for the code, that helped me buy it right away :) If I find something better, I can just let the girlfriend have this one, or give it to someone else. I'm probably going to drop a lot of money on the merchandise, cuz I suck with that. I never know what to buy, so I just buy it all :-/

I purchased a hoodie from u2.com and its super thin :(

weinerdog: did you just give out your personal 25% code? or were you not going to use it?

well, thin or not...I should still like it...being in Chicago it's probably perfect for the night of the show

I'd love another cool keychain. I still have my suitcase one from Elevation...I love it! I toned it down during Vertigo a bit with buying so much. I have 2 shirts from Popmart, a tourbook and some pins. I bought 3 shirts during Elevation, a few posters, 2 keychains, a tour book, and bunches of the buttons. I bought the Vertigo hoodie  and a shirt last tour, a tour book, and the Chicago tour poster. :crack: something small would probably be best for my wallet

U2 360 Merch... Uninspired???

Was just looking at the t-shirts marketing the upcoming tour at U2.com and I think it is very uninspired work compared to previous tours. U2 has always excelled at producing interesting tour merchandise but these shirts are quite lacking in design and execution. There seems to be an odd disconnect between album and tour, which would be a first in U2's career (they typically go hand in hand). NLOTH has with it some stunning imagery (as does their latest video) so I do not understand how they are peddling claw logos that are more fit for video games than the typical U2 fare.

I realize the tour will probably generate more variety and a wider range to choose from; however, Larry (who typically has high expectations on the U2 brand) seems to have lowered the standards here.

It blows away the Vertigo tour t-shirts, those sucked...

I don't think these are bad at all, in fact probably some of the best in quite awhile, I didn't even realize they had posted any yet, thanks for pointing them out.

Yeah the logo one is pretty weak but the rest are nice.

I thought the Popmart logo shirts was pretty damn weak but it seemed to be one of the most popular shirts at that time.

Tee's so far have been super boring...
I always thought ZOO T.V had some of the coolest stuff to choose from.
