Dazz

I haven;t been home since last year, I'm still here in the US, working in Macy's while I apply to grad schools
How are you??

Macys.??

In NYC??!!

Me.....well, doing pretty well, part of the time.
Enjoying myself in bewteen the sadness, and arrgggh/yikes over my roomate's sometime worsening behavior (investigating restraining order at present).

Well if you're here in NYC, you know the "bakeroonie" we had last week- weather-wise. But you alsoo would know that like last year we did have a genuine Spring! Temps in the 60F's & 70'F's BEFORE we got alot of 80F's too early as we have had in some past years.

How was your weekend Daz? Mine was sooooo busy, but in a good way. Kids' birthday parties, friends over for drinks, etc!

AH.sounds like a GOOD wewekend , zu!
Sat was good. I had a friend, unexpectedly, over my house for a few hours. That was very nice.
Since she had a really lon g ride back home o n the subway-- she opted not to try & see the firweworks at Pier 17 (fun complex at the old Fulton Fishmarker area) in the  rain...

SO i ogt partly wet...didn't get there in time to be close by, but with digicmaera got some pics! :hyper:  I was moving between awnings and under a hot-dog venders umbrella, too.

It was (don't know if it is only a NE chain ) Target Family day...and always ends up with fireworks (3rd or 4th year now).

BUt Sun I was off & on quite weepy about missing my mom. I called my sis to see how she was dealing with it. Seems we're fairly close at this point in how we are reacting to it.
It's true....BUT unreal!!

And we are going through the "oh, wait till I show this to...../ I gotta call........." type   crap.

Some days are dry, some days are leaky.

New here (in this thread anyway)....
I take it you're a teacher? My husband teaches high school and he is soooo glad that he's done. He loves it, but....
"some days are better than others".

Welcome to the PGP! I've only been here for a year so I'm something of a noob too!
Yeah, I'm a high school teacher too, but I'm teaching summer school this year to make ends meet. "Some days" indeed!

Welcome! :D We're mostly harmless

 Molly was here! And Dis and Babydoll and everyone!

Zooey had a Bono dream? Poor Larry's been rejected by her subconscious...
:larry:

Ack, sympathies on the early start, GG... :crack:

:crack: and I must stay awake tonight, holland is playing... we're back at school now finishing our project, but as soon as I get home I"m taking a nap!
Had a thermo flask full of coffee, it was empty after we got out of the bus!

it was a nice trip actually, pretty interesting... pity it was so friggin early tho:crack:

and how've you been ?

I'm not bad... I was actually at work ON TIME today!! I did go to bed at 10pm though. And read for a while, but I still mostly got 8 hours sleep! Amazing how much difference that makes.

Who's Holland playing tonight?
And how are you feeling after all that coffee? :hyper: ...

 You??? on time?????? ONOEZ ITZ TEH APOCALYYYYYYYYYPSE!~

:giggle:

 they're playing Romania, but we don't even need to win cause we already advanced, it's more a formality... like, if romania beat us, france and italy(vice and current world champion!!!) are OUT of the tourney in the first round. if we beat romania, it's either france or italy advancing, depending on their match(at the same time as ours). if we draw with romania, either france or italy advance, but if they draw aswell Romania advances because they've a better score since we owned france with 4-1 and italy with 3-0..
 yea, complicated business!

actually I'm rather
gotta finish the presentation and then Im outta here and off to bed!

I know, it's gotta be one of the signs of the End Times, I swear.

Righto... haha, it'd be funny if France and Italy were both knocked out, but I'm sure Holland will triumph again. :D
And that wasn't as complicated as that bloody off-side rule. That had all of Australia scratching our heads and arguing at work in 2006! :giggle:

Good luck with the presentation, and go Holland

Bed time for me too.

Edit: Whoah, Interference's clock is about 5 minutes out of whack... freaky!
