From what I've heard, pages from Alice in Wonderland, Dante's Inferno and that Psalms edition Bono did the forward for... though, he had some other books up at the e stage, like The Essential Ginsberg? Anyone got a full list?

Yeah, that would definitely explain why we did the outro for about another minute after the song ended at LA night 3 and why a few of us were startled by Bono cutting us off during Night 4.

The Be Yourself to Free Yourself sing along took off on its own as far as I could tell. I didn't really notice Bono encouraging it.

I was at those shows too and it didn't feel like it was taking in LA 3. There was some singing, but from where i was it was kinda hesitant. Less on night 4. Then again, I was in the stands so I can't speak for what was going on on the floor.

Ah, pages from books. How very intellectual I thought it was something like that, since he threw the books out right before the paper fell, but wanted to make sure it wasn't some secret code to get into a super secret U2 gig in someone's basement or something like that.
