I was referring to Zoo Station being intermission music, but I agree. Wanderer was the intermission at my shows and I thought it was perfect for the spot.

Only logical place I see Zoo Station showing up now is Encore opener. Don't see how it could lead into Beautiful Day, but City of Blinding Lights isn't invincible anymore.
