I'm assuming Orgie thought Trump did great? Or dare I ask...

Like the guy who was offended that Biden would call the PRESIDENT a "clown" and thus bring down the discourse to that level. While Trump is acting like a monkey flinging feces across the stage. Yeah, sure, he's an undecided.
That whole segment was a joke. Don't call a guy who acts like a clown 24/7 a clown cuz he's the President. Respecting the office flew out the window as soon as Donnie disrespected it himself by his words and actions starting on day one. Respect is earned, but of course that's a completely foreign concept to DJT circus performer.

The only people who should be offended are Ronald McDonald and Pennywise and all other clowns.

i think his plan was to step on Biden's lines as much as possible to try and get him to stutter and have a "senior moment." at least he failed on that account.

Trumps best bet is to have a very close election result so he can tie things up in the courts. If he is boosting turnout because he's acting "like a crackhead" as one "undecided" voter said, it is going to make the margin of victory for Biden larger, thus giving him fewer states to contest the vote in.

If Biden wins clear victories in MI, WI, and PA, along with NE-2 and ME-2 as a bonus, Trump can contest NC, FL, GA, IA, OH, etc... all he wants, but he still won't bring the numbers up to over 270.
My scientific polling of friends on facebook who are either apolitical or bernie bros showed a whole lot of "are these two really the best we've got."

i.e. Biden got swept up into the tsunami of shit that spewed from the orange side of the stage.

So I'm unclear as to what exactly was accomplished last night other than making people become disinterested and turn the channel, which is what Trump wants and is bad for the left.

His only chance is to suppress the vote and hope for a miracle. It's how he won the first time

counterpoint: he's behind, therefore he needs to start to win folks over and change the trajectory of the race. that he did not do.

did the Bros fondly reminisce about the time Bernie wiped the floor with Trump when they debated?

this is true, but I don't think winning people over is part of the plan.

The world is going topsy turvy. Last night was surreal. Then a few minutes ago Rasmussen just came out with a national poll. Biden +8.

He's not trying to win.

It's clear they all think that he is going to lose. It's also clear that they realize that they've failed to convince people that Biden is babbling away about socialism in his Depends in a basement somewhere.

The next strategy is some combination of: (i) cheating/foreign interference, (ii) disenfranchising and deterring people of colour from voting, (iii) sending hordes of MAGA-wearing-armed-to-the-teeth lunatics to polling places to intimidate voters in person, (iv) convincing a large enough % of the population that voting by mail is 101% fraudulent, (v) preparing to mount a massive legal battle re: ballot counting at state level and rely on his SCOTUS to get him over the line and (vi) whatever other nonsense they can come up with on their own or via Barr before November 3 as a last minute surprise.

The media needs to be running down this $421M liability of Trump's to the ground.

Ummmm... wow.

Quinnipiac in South Carolina:
Trump 48, Biden 47
Graham 48, Harrison 48
It continues a streak of relatively strong results for Democrats from Quinnipiac, especially in the South.

Quinnipiac can be slightly Dem friendly, but they are a B+ pollster. So maybe shave off a point or 2 for Biden, and that is still a wow result.

This is pre-debate obviously. I'm guessing we get to see post debate polls by Monday.

Overall - Biden did well, Trump did poorly - but mostly few minds changed.
