okay, i just felt i had to stir the pot once more

first of all there should be no debate that bono is saying 1,2,3,14 in spanish-- its in the official lyrics

secondly, i argued that 14 = 14 LP's by U2, and that possibly also could signify Lillywhite's main involvement in albums 1-3 & 14 (he was involved in other albums i think, but not majorly)

i think the answer to the 14 LPs argument is right on U2's website.. when you click on the "ALBUMS" link this is what comes up:

http://www.u2.com/music/albums_list.php?type=lp

first of all, you look at the fact the list type in the link says LP.. interesting, no?

count all the "albums" here:

// How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb
// November 2004
// The Best Of 1990-2000
// November 2002
// All That You Can't Leave Behind
// October 2000
// The Best Of 1980-1990
// November 1998
// Pop
// March 1997
// Zooropa
// July 1993
// Achtung Baby
// November 1991
// Rattle and Hum
// October 1988
// The Joshua Tree
// March 1987
// The Unforgettable Fire
// October 1984
// Under a Blood Red Sky
// October 1983
// War
// March 1983
// October
// October 1981
// Boy
// October 1980

looks like 14 to me :)

for those people who are sick of this argument, don't hate on this thread, just ignore it.. i'd put this in the other recent thread but i couldn't find it, if a mod wants to merge it, thats fine with me :)
