Can you read French? Help please

http://www.u2achtung.com
http://www.u2france.com

Where are the mp3s on these sites? I tried to figure it out; seems like all u2france has are articles, and u2achtung's mp3 section is down or something? Help me, frenchie-wenchies.

well seeing that i'm from ontario i don't really need to know french
so i'm a little rusty but what this does say is that they were asked to stop posting mp3's by an industry consortium selected by industry people mostly from france...i believe 80%.
it says this can be done without the knowledge of the artist or in a case where the artist has no objections to the availability of files, they are protecting other interests.

i think those are the most important parts

Short version-

They got shut down by the French version of the RIAA. In addition, having the artist's permission to disseminate live recordings (as we U2 nuts kinda have), doesn't get them anywhere, because the SCPP represents the interests of the labels , and not the artists.

They also point out that the SCPP is engaged in a vast operation, which isn't going to stop with u2achtung, or even just with U2 bootlegs.

Well ain't that some shit......
