Such as pets and so on.

I once spent over a year teaching English to elementary school kids in China. Whenever I had a kindergarten or 1st grade class we had to give them English names that they could, if they wanted to, use their entire scholastic career.

So in one 1st grade class I had I decided to get creative. Our first class together I looked around the class and saw this short, talkative child. I named him "Bono". Next to him there was this child who rarely smiled and was serious all the time. I named him "Larry". Then there was this kid with a goatee....no actually I saw a child who, from the first day, had a book in his hand(even at 6 years old!) so I named him "Dave". Finally, I had a student in that very class with glasses so I called him "Adam".

I had a lot of fun that semester. I chuckled to myself everytime I said: "Bono, please be quiet." or "Bono, stop moving around."

That was over 4 years ago and I sometimes wonder if they kept their names.

My iPod is named "Bono Box."

very witty!

ummm, I don't have anything currently named, but I want to name my first cat either Evans or Vox (and maybe Godzilla, I don't know for sure) . . .

I'd never name a pet or child after a U2 member.

I would like to get a dog called Elvis though.

Cat - Liam Mullen Junior de sawnta fay is called Liam for short. All of our cats have multi names: Salma Hayak Corva Rose, Ramona Fiona Isis Kittygurlfren, Elektra Innana Kittymama, and Alex Sir Dirtball

Well lets see...my sister recently got two bunnies, and I tried like mad to get her to name the black one Bono, and the grey one Edge...and since she can't stand U2 she didn't go for it.

I do have a beta fish named Gibson inspired by my favorite guitar the Gibson Explorer

I haven't named any pets after the band members but do I plan on naming my first born son Paul David Howell Adam Charles Lawrence Joseph.

And if I have a girl I'm naming her after the biggest U2 fan I know, Debbie.

   :bonodrum:

Great name, congratulations (!), unfourtunately according to the laws of my country, I may not give so many names to my son if I would expect a son.

Can't say that I have. Although there would be some interesting U2 names to be given. I did have a quaker parrot named Hawkeye and my cockatiel is named Pierce after the character on Mash.

My ipod is called BadU2ipod.

My son is named Adam. His middle name is my first name. Adam Clayton! My wife figured out my suggestion and still went with it.

my doberman puppy
he's a pedigree and comes from a litter that all start with "H"
so his registered name that the breeder gave him was Hustler.
Soooooo his fullname on paper is "Hustler Bono" (the second)-my first doberman was also Bono
