anyone know about codecs?
Im trying to watch all these indie short films that my friend directed, and it starts, then stops, but I can still hear audio, it looks like someone hit the pause button but the sound keeps going. I talked to a friend and he said I needed something called a codec? anyone know how to help me?............I'll give you a cookie

"Codec" is a very generic term. You'd need a specific codec. If I had to guess, your file ends in ". a v i," so you probably need a codec called "DivX."
