this is awesome, ive been really sick and my lung is messed up but something cool came of it! i just got my voice back and now it sounds like a girl bono. NO LIE. woo hoo! i have that nasal kinda moany thing he has going on. it will probably end right about the time all the snot clears out of me but oh well. just in time for when i get to sing "40" at church on sunday!!

u2bonogirl - my old betta died not too long ago, and Dave got me a new one, and now it died.
Eww. he's growing mold, I'd better fish him out.

no worries Kristie. Once I left my dead fish in the bowl so long that when I finally went to fish him out, there was nothing left but clean sand (all the water and the fish was gone). I'm not that good with fish! I had two in Buddy's tank and one looked kinda sick. The next day he was gone. I'm pretty sure Buddy got him while he was slow from being sick.

I don't know what to ask Edge either. I don't play guitar and don't really know/care much about the technical aspects of making an album. I just want to know if he liked Mountain Dew but I'm not so sure that's a legitimate question...

My cold has moved around - sore throat Tuesday, stuffy nose Wednesday/Thursday, and now a hacking cough

I didn't lose my voice, much to my students regret, but I have the cough. UGH! Hope you feel better soon. I sound more like Barry White.

Yay! I finally got that movie on half.com, and when it came I made all available housemates watch it. One was not amused. It was sad. I think the other was confused. Maybe she couldn't hear it over my laughing. Yes, that must be it.

Well, the power is out at my house again

We heard a loud bang at 6 a.m. Friday - a transformer blew. It still wasn't fixed when I got home from work, so I'm crashing at my sister's air conditioned apartment again with her super slooooow computer that still uses Windows 95 and I think the power's still out at home (the parental units also bailed and checked into a hotel )
and the computer is too slow to see the black book scans

beginning horseback riding (1 credit)

Religion in America (3)

Language and Culture (3), which is super duper boring and I hate it

Intro Forensics (3), in which I've seen more maggots than I ever cared to. This is why I do archaeology, I wouldn't do so well with juicy dead people.

Archaeological Research (3), which is independent study, I go work in the anth lab 9 hours a week. Right now we're still processing the artifacts from field school over the summer. My professor wants me to do a presentation at some kind of conference in Ohio in March
