Question re:Chicago Broadcast Footage

I posed this question on a different thread which many of the USA members will not probably get to see. Anyone know the answer ???

To also go off at a tangent.......Can anyone explain the 'Neon Vertigo lights' around the middle/upper tiers in the Chicago live clips ? I was at MSG and dont remember them at all. Were they introduced just for the DVD shoot ? Lot of kit to use for just one show

These are commercial video banners in the Arena... U2 projected these 'Vertigo lights' on them for the DVD...

Yeah just for the DVD I believe. I was at one of the earlier Chicago shows before the filming and they weren't used then.

Shame they didnt make more use of the effect when the venues could cater for it as it looked pretty good ?

I agree. I could be wrong but I believe most of the modern arenas in the US have this exact lighting. I was hoping for it in Philly but it wasnt used there as well. The DVD should be pretty cool.
