It has more to do with us than who we beat. We played very well last week, but today we kicked crap. I felt like crying everytime Moloney got a clearance, which was ... everytime.

Glad Essendon managed to come back for the win; that could've been embarrassing.

Speaking of embarrassing ... oh, Vladelaide. That's got to hurt. Also, Brisbane, WHAT THE FUCK?!

And go Richmond! Awesome result; wish I could've seen that game.

Got to admit, Carlton's away uniform is just making me think that tonight's game is St Kilda vs North Snoozebourne.

And tensions seem to be boiling over at the first break!

Looks exactly the same as Sturt's uniform. Coincidence?

Damn, wish St Kilda could've held on to win last night. Probably the only team I like less than Carlton is Collingwood. Great game though.

Yeah, that was a great match. I was sitting in front of the telly painting, easel up and all, and I spent more time looking at the screen for those last two quarters. I wish the Saints won, though. Jeez, they're just so depressing.

We were intending to go to bed around half-time ... ended up staying until the final siren. God, what's happened to Riewoldt this year? He's gone from being St Kilda's best player to one of the least remarkable on the ground last night.

Major psychological problems/tagging, I'd say.

Ladies and gentlefolk, how fucking good does this weekend look?

Cats/Collingwood, for starters. Then you've also got Hawks/Saints, Bulldogs/Richmond and the Derby, as well as whatever little surprises that might occur in the other matches.

Oh yeah, haven't looked at the coming matches, just hoping we could at least thrash the Suns and show a bit of a pulse in going further into the season.

Either way, changes will happen after that match.

Lose, and Neil Craig will almost certainly be gone.

Win, and we'll have found something to build on and to turn around our season. (depending on the winning margin)

Yeah, I do talk a whole bloody lot about my own team.

(Actually, if you want a decade ago or maybe 15 years ... I just got back from Queensland and GOOD GOD! No excuse, Brisbane.)

Went to two matches on the weekend, Richmond-Fremantle and St Kilda-Carlton.

The skill level, perhaps surprisingly, was far superior in the former, while the latter was just atrocious on the eye and riddled with errors. Carlton were a much better side, inaccuracy costing them a more substantial margin, but gee the Saints look dreadful and a far cry from the Grand Finalists of the pad few seasons.

Goddard isn't the superstar he was. Pavlich and Judd are probably the two best players in the league at the moment.
