I don't understand what is unfair about it. So they have a female band member, and so the picture looks slightly more feminine - is that not an accurate representation of the band? How is that not fair?

This is the worst because it just seems to mash Larry and Bono, the worst two.

If you mashed Adam and Edge you'd have a photo that wouldn't make you dead inside.

It's hard to not just see the frontman in most of these photos...you're going to be subconsciously looking for their details. The Nirvana/Pearl Jam/Alice in Chains ones just look like a sub-par drawing of their lead singers.

The Beatles one is just Paul with George's jaw.

And the Nirvana one is just Kurt Cobain.

I think by far the best one is The Who. It looks like all four of them, and the end result resembles an actual human, unlike most of these.

The band James did this for an album cover once, but executed much better.
