sharing private ZooTv jet with GnR

i was reading an older zootv interview where Bono talks of sharing their private jet with Guns N Roses. Does anyone know the details of this?

Was it perhaps a plane U2 had and during breaks in their tour they let GnR use it? OR were both bands actually using it at the same time , flying to the same city? As far as i know Axl came out and sand during one show in Vienna, but i dont think GnR opened for U2 at all.

I know Axl was a big u2 fan back in the day. Used to go to quite a lot of gigs. Cannot comment on the sharing of the Plane tho.

It wasn't sharing like both bands on the plane at the same time. I believe Guns n' Roses had the MGM Plane in the early 90s (which pissed Lars Ulrich off), and U2 did as well. It was a scenario where U2 would use the plane when Guns didn't have it and Guns would use it when U2 didn't have it.
