U2Kitten said:What's 'proof', an 'officially the real thing' label? And didn't we just get rid of that 'pleba' person acting like they were connected to the band? Sorry I can't even believe the "Elvis knows who I am" thing, most of the staff seemed to authenticate 'Fake Edge' yet he was still fake.

I like that quote. Did you write that yourself or are you quoting someone?
FullonEdge2 said:
Well yes I wrote it myself....but I'm also quoting "Acrobat."
Glad you liked it though

I've read very very old poetry that uses this double entendre. Madonna and Bono may have brought it into the mainstream, but it's nothing new.
U2Kitten said:Sorry I have a terrible time believing that a song intended for, or partially for, a band member's teenage daughter would also double as a song about oral sex. I think they're better fathers than that. Just like I have a hard time believing any 'insiders' would actively post here, and if they did, they wouldn't admit it or brag about it Oh and didn't most people hear the album 2 weeks before its release, due to the leak?
indra said:I just have one question...when did sex become "dirty"? I'm sorry but that just boggles my mind.
beli said:Oh gawd no, not another one
Please if you are someone connected please keep it to yourself or provide proof. One or the other.

Bono's shades said:I remember in U2 Until the End of the World, Bill Flannagan asked Bono about the supposed oral sex references in Achtung Baby and he was kind of coy about it. That's fine with me, because I think it's nice to leave things ambigous. Who knows, maybe Bono wasn't consciously thinking about you-know-what when he wrote that particular lyric - maybe it was a Freudian slip. Or maybe we are the ones with the dirty minds.
