one in the back of the GA behind the shortest people I could find.
You have my permission to stand behind my wife. She's gymnast sized. Just don't get handsy.

should i be concerned that i haven't gotten the "this is how to accept your ticket" email yet?
In an ideal world it would be good to go a couple of times, once in GA and once in seats?
Section 406 starts at row 4 so that's the first row of that section, I think that will be a great seat to take it all in with no one in front of you
thanks, i didn't know this. Why would a section start with row 4? Glad i'm not afraid of heights!

Good one! I better not drink before the show!

Construction costs are rising again for the entertainment venue MSG Sphere at The Venetian, which is set to open in September.
Representatives of Sphere Entertainment Co., a spinoff from Madison Square Garden Entertainment Inc., announced Wednesday that construction costs had climbed to $2.3 billion, which includes core technology and soft costs, from its prior estimate of $2.18 billion. The company said the increases reflect the “overall complexity of the project.”
Through Tuesday, it has spent an estimated $2.08 billion on the project, which was net of $65 million received from The Venetian.
It also announced that the installation of the interior screen at the Sphere is expected to be completed this month.
Located just east of The Venetian Expo, the 17,500-seat performance venue will open Sept. 29 with the start of a five-week, 17-performance run of U2.
According to Sphere officials, Formula 1 will also have a "multi-day takeover of the Sphere" for its inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix.
I originally wrote that in all caps to show my annoyance at my own pun, but it didn't let it stay that way. I hope it doesn't feel like a cliff edge in the front row, I'd definitely feel uncomfortable.
So does that last quote suggest that there might not be any shows on November 8th, 10th and 11th. To get ready for that multi-day takeover?
They need more U2 dates to keep this thing humming until they land a KPop group/package tour
not necessarily. it means there's absolutely no chance of shows during F1 weekend, which most people with common sense already realized.
Thanks, I didn't know this. Why would a section start with row 4? Glad I'm not afraid of heights!
from the Las Vegas Review Journal...
and another tidbit, in case there was any lingering doubt...
Vegas is going to be a mess the week before F1. Setting up grandstands, closing roads, etc. I'm thinking the 17 shows are it.
You can see there is a little indentation in this section, so starts at 4
There we go.
it's possible that they've been asked to hold - but a lot of that construction will be done by then. it's scheduled to be finished before the first Sphere show.
There's a lot going on around the Sphere for F1. Grandstands and a GA standing area for fans. I doubt that will be all completed before September 29th.
Go get 'em.
