Apparently a much better source is doing the rounds. I will try and get a copy, but it’s late here. Hopefully it finds its way to this thread soon.

This one sounds much better and cleaner. I can actually make out what Danny is playing in One. The little fill from the studio version. It sounds cool.

Bono is a bit lower in the mix, and I’ve seen some people complain about that, but I actually think it is a positive sign for how an album might be mixed. We are just so used to him being loud and over the top of the music. He blends back in with the band here. I like it.

This has been one of my biggest compalints of the last few albums. Songs will start with a great riff or intro that actually sounds like it might be the mythical "unreasonable guitar" album... and then it all fades into the BG as Bono's vocals come front and center. They don't sound like they're a "part" of the song often.

I think every single instrument is crystal clear, has space in the recording and pops really well. The other recordings were quite blended together, and as you say, Bono was buried in the mix

For the boffins, I popped it into the U2torrents forum as well and had this response from Sharebear:

You got me curious! I compared a bit to the digital recording from the original Sirius broadcast. The recent U2.com seems to be at a lower bitrate (see more artifacting on the high end). BUT the extra dynamics compression applied to the original Sirius appears to be gone. The mix appears to be more or less the same from my initial look. The dropout at beginning of All I Want Is You is still there. The JFK speech is still missing from Love Me Tender (and mistakenly appears during Until End of the World). Mix is still mixed a bit too loud for my taste but that's personal preference.

If only because the removal of the extra dynamics compression effects, which made it a painful listen to me, I'd say the U2.com stream is the best at the moment (setting aside any fan made recordings).
