As bad as last night was, things are really looking great for Carlton when you look at the ladder. 2nd place, with the best defense in the league points-wise (and it's not even close) and the third best offense. Next round we have St. Kilda and we're getting Judd, Waite and Yarran back

Despite our performance over the last three rounds, I'm not sure Essendon deserves to be in the top four. 
Geelong and Collingwood both in the top eight now, so some normalcy seems to be restored ... Hawthorn remain down in 11th though.

I read that earlier. I thought it was a pretty poorly written article and you could just see Rucci basically strangling his keyboard whilst writing that. Understandable in some ways, he's a big Port supporter.

Absolutely insane that when you have a stadium with a capacity of 100,000, it's still somehow impossible to accommodate all club members who want to go to the grand final, even though it's impossible for any combination of two clubs to have more members than there are seats at the MCG.
