I'm not going to bother with this tour after all.
Bitch, please. I know where you live. Don't make me track you down.

When I saw the band play at United Center, I remember buying merch before the show cause I was worried it would all sell-out. I thought it was annoying how the vendors were setup outside?
But anyway, I was wondering how you guys work when it comes to band merch. Do you guys buy beforehand or after? Any experiences or advice?

And if you're looking forward to buying tickets for the North American leg of the tour,
check in on U2.com this Monday - we'll be posting first news of presale dates for Chicago, Toronto, Boston and New York.
where is this posted?
Reread it, it says it's from u2.com
I just got the email saying the same thing.
good question. Dunno how that will work with GA. Last tour I saw a show with seats and probably bought the shirt first because there was no rush. I think after my GA show I also bought a shirt...no way I did it before, dunno how that would happen. All I remember is the mad rush for the stage. In stadiums it's gonna be even more crazy.
Excellent!
One of my coworkers wanted me to pick her up a sweatshirt and a program when I went to the Portland show last tour. I was in the back of the floor, and I took a convenient trip to the merchandise area during Bullet the Blue Sky.
I swear I was the only one out there and even the merch people looked surprised to see me. Apparently I was the only one who could stand to miss that song or something.
Our "douchebags in seats" t-shirts will be made of the highest quality material, do not worry.

But when Miss Sarajevo started playing on the Vertigo Tour, it was like a stampede for the bathrooms and beer by the mild fans. I remember standing there, cheering at MSG, and thinking WTF people? IT'S MISS SARAJEVO!!!

how many shows did you go to? I'd never miss a song at a U2 show, but I've also only seen them three times.

I was all when I opened that one!
If my office had more of a sense of humor these days, I'd put a sign outside my cube for next week "Do not disturb between 11-12 EST, April is buying her U2 tickets"

My coworkers are already frightened of me in "U2 Mode"
