I work for a local weekly newspaper that mixes news with lifestyle. No one's going to pick up the paper if the front cover is a bloke who is angry at his neighbour because the trees are too high.

Also, Im pretty sure moneydude is the one who wrote the book about a thousand ways (or whatever) to get free money from the government.

Matthew Lesko. When Andy Dick had his totally underrated show on MTV, he did the most fantastic parody of that guy.

Good God. I've more or less stopped even looking at FYM. I've put in on ignore, even. But now and then, I'm reminded how much I cannot STAND a certain someone whose name might be similar to moneydude. I fuckin' can't stand that jerkoff.

is it just me or is he losing his mind?

Speaking of,

What is the deal with this Deep character? Is this person for real, or just some poorly-executed characterture of sarcasm? I really can't tell.

It blows my mind that he's a 50 some odd year old man

* SPOILER *

He mistakes contrarianism for thoughtfulness. Questioning people who often sound like their minds are made up is one thing. Deliberately pissing people off with sarcasm under the auspices of playing devil's advocate is another.

I'm so beyond thunderdomes at this point.

That SLC show is in an awesome little theater. I'll definitely throw down some money to see him in a place that small.

Hmmm...Boston or Waterbury. I'm past my days of considering Burlington or Albany (and definetly Portland), but I still feel like there are far too many reasonable driving distance dates to not go.

I'm always surprised how many bands from outside the US will schedule shows the day before or day after significant holidays in the US. You think whom ever is handling their tour schedule would advise them against it. I've missed a handful of really good shows the day after Thanksgiving in the last few years.

i vaguely remember something about him being related to diamond. Whether that was ever substantiated, I couldn't tell you, however I just attributed his responses to stupidity running in the family. Almost makes me rethink my stance on the questions in those ridiculous political tests as to whether some people simply are genetically inferior, but never mind. All this fym talk forced me to make my yearly foray into that place. What a zoo.

I'll maybe show up at the venue the day of the Chicago show, but I will not lay money down on this guy in advance.

It's when you take a fictional character and torture them. Think Mickey mouse and water boarding. Yeah, I really need to get some sleep.
