Really, I always thought he did his charity pro bono, pun intended :D
I have never read he got paid for it and thus it is kinda new for me to read it was 'made clear' those profits went to charity..
 
I think it's very common for speakers to get payed for certain events, and if Bono can give the money to charity I don't see why he shouldn't take it. It would also be ok if he kept it, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't need the money from speeches since he's not a "former" something but still very much in business :)

I think Adam doesn't really want to talk about the album here, he's more interested in talking about this campaign. I think it's great he's involved in it and it's very important to support a campaign like this. :up:
 
Adam's hair looks depressed. I guess I have to go back to twitter and have a serious convo with the hair. It worries me to see it so ... down. :huh:

U2.com and One.org both have a little article about Bono's speech and say that they will share the video when TED releases it. I think you have to pay to see the TED speeches as they happen, but it sounds like they wait a while and then make them available to the public later on.
