For a one off from a band that's in their 60s? I'd say it's certainly closer to notable than pathetic. On a scale of notable to pathetic where do these numbers land

It sounds like it could be Bono on one of the verses, but everything else is definitely not Bono. Some conjecture that the song that plays at the Sphere after they finish is an unreleased new tune with a guest vocal
From Reddit:
You can here the full song in this recording of night 3 around 2:07:55

Would like to see how the new Stones singles did for comparison.
Yeah, cant really blame them this time. And the fandom couldn't handle a stand in Drummer recording an album.I think it's less to do with being smart or lazy and more to do with Larry being crippled
U2 get in their own way from time to time

So my friend who has been pretty vocal about his hatred of U2 is going to one of the shows. According to him, even though he thinks they're overrated, "they have some great songs, The Edge is an amazing guitarist, and I really want to see the Sphere." This has turned out to really be repairing their image in the eyes of a lot of people. I cannot believe THAT GUY is going to one of the Vegas shows instead of me, all because my wife won't let me go!
I mentioned it to my husband and he kind of shrugged which I am interpreting as permission.

Every time we got into an Uber or talked to someone we knew previously or not, we were asked what brought us to Vegas and we said U2 at the Sphere and every last person’s reaction was “oh wow, I hear that’s supposed to be amazing and I wish I could go see it.”
