I'm trying to get tickets for the London one - had two UK friends send texts for me. Trying to get to London that week has been a kicker - first I was going to use some frequent flyer miles and try on my own to go, but I couldn't make it work on my own resources. I had just canceled my own plans Friday morning, when my sister (who had no idea I wanted to go that week) calls Friday afternoon and asks if I want to go to London that same week - for free! - in exchange for taking my nephew sightseeing during the day while his father takes care of business (my sister isn't going). They leave that Friday and I leave that Sunday, so I am at liberty Saturday for Live8. I reckon that it's got to be fate!
