I would be surprised also. But I did go to a concert years ago at Anaheim Stadium (prepare to date myself, yes I'm old) - David Bowie with Siouxsie and the Banshees - where they blocked off only the pitcher's mound back to home plate in a rectangle. The rest of the infield had chairs on it (not a GA show). Granted that was a LONG time ago, but I hope they do it the same way.

They'll probably have streets around the stadium available for parking until 8am Friday, you just have to drive around a bit looking for them.

There will also be private lots around the stadium that will charge less than the $25 the Angels are charging, though they might not be open before 8am.

Thanks. I've never been to the stadium and don't know the area at all. I guess I'll scope it out on Thursday afternoon. I'm thinking about parking at the Amtrak station for a couple hours early in the morning but I don't want to get towed.

Everything? Disney is great! I'd recommend using fast passes for the big rides, especially Space Mountain and Star Tours.

Ok, Martha's photos show the infield grass covered and claw parts resting on top. Anyone think there's a possibility that they will not block off the entire infield like they did in Oakland? Sure would be nice to have that extra room to wander near the center of GA.

What do you guys think? Will they even allow some overnight lining up/camping out? I kind of hope not, ha, because I think I'd rather do the dinner, then get up early to get in line, though I'm guessing the numbering will begin the day prior
I wanted one of the two shows to be really close, so I'm thinking Friday. Then ending up wherever on Saturday.
Anyone else doing dinner going over in the early AM? I don't even know what's 'early'.

As of now, I'm assuming no camping so the plan is to check into line Thursday afternoon then show up bright and early Friday morning.

Word is that Anaheim PD is ready and willing to ticket anyone parked where the shouldn't be. So be careful and read the signs. Tickets are no fun.

And most hotels in the area will be handing out parking passes to guests only.
