Despite me going to many concerts for more decades than I care to count, there are a bunch of old geezers I've never seen that I really, really need to (before they stop touring). He's on my list, too.

But seriously, Elton John is phenomenal. He can hold an audience in the palm of his hand. He's a real showman.

i always wanted to see Journey with Steve Perry, never got the chance though:)
 
hmmm...so no surprises this time....I miss the insanity of seeing something like ES show up in the set :waiting:
 
yes it would have Vert:) but i did get to see journey later with Steve Augeri, so all wasnt lost, still wished SP was singing though:)

I think Elton John was my first concert.

He played the Tallahasse civic center (yes, my first concert was not until college :reject: ).

It was the night before a big game with FSU's rival, the Florida Gators. Elton John played our "war chant" for the encore :up:

We lost though :reject:
