Looks like "Get Out of Your Own Way" has an acoustic version now.

It's a live recording of just Bono and Edge, and is pretty worthless.

Interesting. Truth be told, they could have saved the trouble and just looped the chorus from the acoustic version of The Best Thing, then sang Get Out of Your Own Way over it...

I'm starting to think Landlady is my favorite song on the album. Edge's hammer-ons in the last verse are such a great touch.

A little off topic, but listened to songs of innocence in a really long time. And to my suprise i enjoyed it a lot. The record is bashed a lot and in the end you start to believe all of it. If you delete song for some one and Joey Ramone it would be in classic territory.

I do enjoy songs of experience a lot too. Exit best thing and Gooyow and you are in classic territory also.

Hmm,don't get the hate for Joey Ramone and the best thing. Not classics but have their place on both albums.

The Miracle, The Experience, The Apparition, The Sense (of Mr Jeffrey Ross Hyman aka Joseph "Joey" Ramone of the Ramones) isn't too bad.

But the Best Thing is an insult to everybody who has ever loved this band.

Very good album, but when the release method pisses off so many people the quality of the actual album becomes forgotten. Despite all the handwringing over "relevance," questionable singles, and bad PR shenanigans, this cycle of albums has produced some pretty great music. They're at their best when they really lean into the themes of each album. Iris through Cedarwood Road on SOI is a great sequence of raw biography and Little Things through 13 on SOE hits the "write as if you are dead" goal.

The best thing is like streets compared to Get out of your own way!

Nah. GOOYOW is that nasty supermarket processed individual cheese slices in plastic. Best Thing is the cockroaches who suddenly swarmed into your apartment one day from your neighbour's gross-as-fuck never-cleaned hovel.

I would think U2 will get the touring awards. Duo and group will depend on what kind of alchemy Billboard uses to determine the winner. Album will probably go to one of the other bands (I am going to go with Portugal, the Man on that one).

Love is Bigger has 7 new adds on Triple A in the US....so looks like it might be the next “single” pushed to radio. I haven’t seen it on any other formats yet

Really excited. LIBTAIIW is one of the few songs left on this album that has the potential to be a solid hit single on the level of YTBAM. Maybe even more than that.

Can't wait for the gender identity message to alienate a bunch of assholes.
