Where there $70 Red Zone GA's available for New Jersey? I see them at other cities, but not at Met Life?
 
No 2nd Boston show?

No such thing as "$70 Red Zone" tickets. They all are priced, in the US anyway, at $350 a pop.

$70 would get you regular GA tix, but don't have an answer if they were available for NJ this am. I would assume so however.

Oh if u check some of the other cities you could buy a $70 Red zone GA without the expensive VIP package ... But I don't see this option for New Jersey ... Or Philly ... So I was just wondering if anyone was able to get any at that price

Hmmm, interesting. That is not even an option in Philly, or Dublin. Just by the nature of the RZ, you get right up close to the stage, they only sell a limited amount of tix for it so you can really spread out and not lose your spot, get your own entrance, bathrooms, ect. In Philly you don't get any other package or stuff with it. I guess maybe they do it different in other cities?

I would have gladly chosen a $70 RZ over a $70 regular GA. Right? Maybe that was a mistake by ticketmaster....I don't know. But that would be the buy of the day. I'd love to hear if anyone got RZ for $70.
 
I remember in Montreal for I+E i did see Red Zone tickets listed for the same price as regular GA. However, they seemed rather impossible to get, as they were sold out virtually from the second they went on sale.

A friend pointed out during the presales that somehow she was able to select $70 RZ tickets in multiple cities ... did they pull up any tickets? No. But if you selected certain options (price level, area, whatever), it looked like they were an option. It was weird.

I'm pretty sure that when you select the $70 GA, Red Zone option it means $70 and up. It pulls from the floor showing any $70 GA's or $375+ Red Zone tix. It's how I got Red Zones in the past, but never for $70, always for $375+ :sexywink:

Now that makes more sense and supports it as being a ticketmaster "glitch".

Technically speaking it IS a GA ticket. I was looking forward to getting RZ in Dublin, until I read the fine print in which it said (paraphrased) "Red Zone tickets are considered Standing GA Pitch. No one under 16 will be allowed on the Pitch without parent or guardian. No one under the age of 14 will be issued a Standing GA Pitch ticket". We are bringing my 11 year old and 17 year old this time. There was no policy in '09. My 9 year old got into the golden circle with us.

When I attempted the pre-sale sub-selections for RZ Philly, ticketmaster oddly named Lower level seated, Red Zone, and GA Floor. Obviously there are no lower level seated RZ seats. Seems like they figured it out correctly by the time general sales happened this morning. I'd guess that $70 option seen was a glitch and when you tried to get tickets it wouldn't go through.

But hell, what do I know.

I didn't do RZ for I&E, but did for 360 and I think this time it's vastly improved, just by looking at the diagrams anyway. RZ 360 was off to the side and outside (but right up against) the golden circle (Edge side/Adam side). This time, it appears it's just one section directly in front of the main stage Edge side and going along the mushroom/kidney/nuke stage. That's pretty excellent.

I'm hoping all the other amenities are just as good as they were in 360. The freedom to move about, as it's not super crowded, was pretty awesome. You could come and go as you pleased and never lose your spot.

When you click on the "Price Range" link it does show $70.00 Red Zone as an option. I'm pretty sure a few lucky ones got those w/o having to pay the $350+ package price.
 
Wow, one of my coworkers managed to get the 4 seated tickets she wanted during the Seattle general sale today. I thought for sure she'd get shut out trying for 4. Yay!

No. If you click $70, it searches for $70 tix.

I made note of the $70 RZ option during the presale. But I don't think they actually existed, didn't see anyone succeed in getting them. I tried, it said none available then offered regular GA.
I believe it was a glitch.

So from the maps I looked at and I'm sure someone pointed out already, they aren't selling tickets behind the stage or the side? I recall Bruce shows doing that, but never U2. I guess the stage is 1987 old school and you can't see.

Still can't believe no 2nd Boston show.

I guess all I can remember is 360 tour where they sold behind the stage no?

And what does Guns and Roses have to do with it? They sucked so bad, now U2 can't play 2 shows?
 
Most every stadium is a similar end stage setup with no tix sold behind. Recent exception were The Dead's "Fare Thee Well" shows where the promoter opened the rear seating to satisfy demand.

I guess I'm so used to U2 arena tours that I can't recall any stadium tours. Also i have 2 kids and got way more... what's the word... um....

So with less seats to sell, they didn't add more shows... now I'm ever more angry and my wife call me angry bear. Fun fact.
 
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question (it will be my first USA concert) but why I received a GA ticket with section and seat numerarion? I thought this area was for standing. I would love to be in front of the stage!

Ignore section and seat on GA tickets - they mean nothing. It's just a "tracking" or "numbering system" for Ticketmaster. Get there early and get as close as you want. :D

Last year GnR had a quick sell out at Gillette much like U2 today.
They added a 2nd show and barely sold anything. Ended up dropping ticket prices twice and played to a stadium with the entire 300 level and the west side 200 level closed off.
I was there.

Guarantee it was a factor in determining demand for 2nd show, coupled with soft sales at the 2nd 360 show at Gillette in 2009.

My RZ ticket to Rose Bowl was $70 + fees. At the time Ticketmaster had price categories you could select but the breakdowns into seats / RZ / GA etc. weren't listed. If it was a 'glitch' maybe this had something to do with it, but there was plenty of talk about $70 RZ during the presales, surely they would've picked it up if it was an error. It does seem odd though after the vast difference in price on 360.

I was just expecting / hoping a GA would show up, was a nice surprise..

If I go to my order history it says 'Standard Ticket Section GA50'

I ended up buying tickets for those 2 Florida concerts as they were the only ones with GA available.

I'm thinking about buying for the extra NJ concert, but it seems that it's expensive to go from Miami.
