Happy Monday :sexywink:

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that... :( There's got to be some serious good mojo coming your way soon, or I'm going to have to have a word with the universe... :madwife:

The universe freaking hates me. We'll try to make it on my measly disability check and his unemployment IF it ever comes. It's going to be a bad scene here shortly, though. *bites nails* We found a grocery store going out of business last week, everything 50% off, so loaded up on beans and rice and a few other cheap foods that can be stretched to last a long time. And I guess we might qualify for food stamps! :|

Now... there must be something to cheer me around here... sorry to be a buzzkill!!!! Ooooo!!! Idea! I'm going to send this tough little number over to beat up hubby's back-stabbing, two-faced, lying ex-employers!

On second thought, I really wouldn't want him to sully his hands on the likes of THOSE evil losers. :madwife: Oh, do I sound bitter?

Yes! It's a skitrip! I've never been on one before, I'll get Snowboard lessons and there's LOADS of snow! :hyper:

And omg your sig!

Ooo, that does sound fun! I've never been skiing either.

(heeeeeeee, and you know how I love the boylove! )

  I hope he can find something else soon.

Would you prefer a Hitman to take them out from a distance, perhaps? :hmm:
(Apologies for not being able to summon the appropriate Larry pic at will... some fiend seems to have cleaned out my U2 pics in photobucket... :reject: )

Kristen! I was going to comment on the gall bladder thing but I guess the moment has passed... *L* I know a few people who have had theirs out, and it's been no drama at all. They could eat whatever they wanted afterwards, no diet restrictions that I'm aware of. Glad your mum's okay after the surgery!

And now I really am going... Kinda forgot how addictive blue crack is.

Speaking of zombieAlison, bed time for me...

Have fun on the ski trip, GG! Hope you're feeling better... and I hope you don't damage yourself! I heard snowboarding can be accident-prone...

Thanks. Can't promise that though. :uhoh: My aim is to come home without broken bones. A friend is going to give me some lessons, so I hope it works.

 Sleep well.

Ah Gg, thank you! Now the universe is hating on my pics, no fair!!!

Good to hear :) She'll probably avoid the nausea if she just avoids fatty foods for a while. It'll take a bit of time for the liver to kick in as fat reducing organ.

Yup exactly. She's tried to eat some normal foods she's had to avoid because of the gall bladder attacks and she felt fine after. She's just gonna build up to eating normally again slowly.

How's you today?

Ugh, so this morning I applied for a cool sounding job, and in the listing it said you could request the full job description. Just got an email back from them with the full description, and it wasn't much more than what had been advertised.

Plus, the HR person was all "oh yeah, by the way, this is a 6 month temporary position." Why the HELL did you not put that on the listing, then?! I probably wouldn't have applied, had I known that. I don't want to be in this same position again 6 months from now. :tsk: BAH.

That's pretty nice, to be able to eat what she couldn't before! Party time!

 Ok ok, slowly sounds good.

I'm better than I was this morning. Don't know if it's the painkillers or what, but my throat stopped hurting. Lol, prolly the painkillers. Got a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so I can ask him if there's any other kind of asthma med he can give me that isn't the inhaler. I so hope there is, because these pills were awesome. I was able to run to catch the bus or train without any issues, and started working on stamina. Though I don't want to go back to the permanent thirst and nosebleeds and painful throat tho. :crack:

Kinda weird they don't put that in the initial description. Do they think it'll lure more people in if they don't mention it?

Oh, probably. They're a non-profit, so you'd think they'd be much more up front and honest about that kind of thing, but whatever. We'll see if they end up calling me for an interview. :)

 Haven't been here in ages, but I'm sick and needy, so where else would I go to find pics of the boyz to make me feel better? :)

Hello!

I will email you... might take a couple of days cos I'm half asleep and I'm out tomorrow night, but I won't forget!

 You rock.

:shifty: Moobday.

Nice pic, JJ. :flirt: Having fun yet?

That's even more nasty. Just tell people what it is, it's not that hard.

Not enough sleep... :crack:

Got my first meeting/rehearsal with the cover band I might sort-of maybe be joining, tonight... :panic:

That's a bit dodgy, Thora... Would you accept if they interviewed you and offered you the job? I guess it's possible they could find a way to keep you on if they like you and you like them, although I guess they're not starting out well, and I don't blame you for wanting to avoid job-hunting again.

Good luck with it!

Enjoy the band Ali! You go girl :D Can't believe you're in a band. How awesome is that!

Gonna buy some special soft stone tomorrow that I can drill holes in for my future shrimp. Apparently they love that as homes, so I'll put it in.

That's exciting about the band! :hi5:

If they call me for an interview, I'll go. I need the practice. If the salary's acceptable, yeah, I'd probably take the job. I'm pretty desperate. And yes, there's always the possibility that the job could continue. That would definitely be something I'd ask about in the interview. There are a few other interesting positions that I've applied for today as well, so maybe one of those will turn into something. :)

Thanks!

Even if it's just a short job, at least it's a job right? :) Something to keep you busy until a better opportunity comes along.

Absolutely! It's likely the salary will be good, as it's a fairly high level position - higher than what I was at before. But I'm not going to count my chickens before they're hatched. We'll see what happens. :)
