PGP: I'll have my Bono without the mandals please.

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

How far was your race? I'm a runner as well. I never buy the photos, but I ran a marathon and might have to buy those.

So, my daughter NEVER wants my husband to read to her at bedtime. Yet, tonight she wanted daddy, not mommy. Game one of the Stanley Cup. Bet daddy became a speed reader.

 Kids have the best timing.:lol:

Enjoy your hockey Thora.

Nothing U2 related yet, aside from the usual album version of Streets during the intro. If anything, something will happen during one of the intermissions. :)

The game is AWESOME so far!!

The sun was peeking out in Foxboro when I left about an hour ago. Raining where I live and I hear some thunder in the distance.

Go Bruins!

Glad I didn't miss anything U2 with the game.

But you guys! LOOK! LOOK! LOOKIT!

The gates were open, so I just moseyed right up the steps and took the picture.

There are dudes standing ON TOP OF THE CLAW!!! I want to be up there.

Preferably with a safety harness. BUT STILL!

OMG Claaaaaawwwww!!!!

The clawwwwwwwww!
Pleban #1: The claw is our master.
Pleban #2: The claw chooses who will go and who will stay.
Pleban 1# :I have been chosen. Farewell, my friends. I go to a better place. Nirvana is coming, the mystic portal awaits.

I couldn't resist.

On the weather front, all is quiet. My kid is in bed 2 hours later than her bedtime. Oh, it's going to be an ugly morning here tomorrow.

They had nothing, not even when we ran into the pit! We were all panicing. If you went out of the pit, they stamped your NECK! :crack: wtf????

They didn't even screen us at all.

For the Australian shows, everyone in GA got a wristband, and I think they stamped anyone who left the pit, so they could get back in. Not sure if it was on the neck, but I got a neck-stamp for my first show, on the Vertigo tour. Makes it harder to transfer to someone else, we figured.

I didn't leave the pit once I was in it, or my spot if I was on/near the outer rail, for any of the shows last year. Too paranoid about getting back to my spot, although I probably would hav been fine. :reject:

Tell you what though, that ridged plastic stuff they put on the ground is painful to sit on!

Great claw pic, Cori... :hyper:
And I never thought of them as M&Ms...

That's cool, comet! I wonder what specifically he said. :hmm:

Thanks, Ali! :D

Ugh, this morning my stomach is CRAZY rumbly. I didn't sleep very well last night, and woke up really early this morning because I feel so gross. I'm really hoping that it's just all the nerves and excitement I've been feeling over the past few days that is making my stomach upset, and NOT that I'm getting sick. *crosses fingers* When I was a kid, I'd often throw up on the day we left for vacation or when we were doing something super fun, because I was so excited. I'm hoping this is just what I'm feeling. Ugh.

Edit - A half hour has passed, and it looks like it's just the nerves/over-excitement. I've had a shower and brushed my teeth, and drank a little bit of water, and I feel SO much better. :) My stomach's still a little bit rumbly, but it's at a much more acceptable level now.

I can relate Thora. I felt the same way before we left for Winnipeg! Nice win for the Canucks last night! Our whole family is soooo excited!:hyper:

Four days later, and our "Bono moment" is still so unbelievable to me. Funny how much 7 seconds can mean to a U2 fan. Even Sean still can't process it! :cute:

I wish that when I got super nervous/excited, that it didn't affect my stomach too much. Oh well!

Yes, it was a great win. I was so scared that Boston was going to score a goal in the last couple seconds. I had a feeling that SOMEONE was going to score right before the end of regulation. :D My internet completely shut down for a few minutes after the goal was scored. I don't know if that happened all over Vancouver, but it was hilarious timing! I was trying to tweet and post on FB, but nothing was happening. Thankfully the blip didn't last too long.

Aww, I'm so happy for you guys! I will definitely be un-hiding everyone on Sunday when I'm home. I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures and watching the videos. :)

Do you know what I liked about that game? That Vancouver dished some harsh defense back at them. The Habs had so many injured players, that they really couldn't. I'm not going to lie...seeing them get roughed up makes me feel all warm inside!:laugh:

Biting ftw!~:shifty:

That moment made my life  :sexywink:

So excited for all you going to Seattle!! :hyper: *good numbers and spot vibes*
