It just makes me mad because in Dublin we had 3 shows. I can't get that all upset because the soundchecked it in full for Dublin 3, so technically I heard it and DM
DG!!!!! Are you planning Foxboro?
GG, your LarryLuck! Can you send some of it this way plz plz plz?!?!?
I hope this doesn't offend you Laura, but I'm a little surprised that you'd be complaining when, according to your sig, you still have six shows to go and you have a very good chance at hearing it at one of those shows. You got to see three shows in Dublin! I'd be happy to go there and hear Bono read from a phone book.
Anyway, I really hope you do get to hear it eventually.
Cori?
DG, I'm sure I must have told you girls at some point, but last tour I had a dream that they performed The Hokey Pokey.
The Hokey Pokey ... might not be a bad idea to add to my growing list of "Dances I Will Do If Bono Ever Pulls Me Onstage."
The polka is at the top of the list, though. Do you think Irish dudes know how to polka?
I think I remember that.
I can kind of understand how Laura and GG are feeling. The night after I saw U2, they played Gloria, which I had really wanted to hear live in person, not just on the bootlegs. Just my luck they play it the 2nd night. But in spite of that, my first ever U2 concert was amazing and I have nothing but wonderful memories.
But yes, by all means, they seem like Polka dancing sort of fellows, I'd give it a try if I were you.
It's got to be a safer bet than me trying to do some sort of sexy dance like all the other girls that get pulled up. I couldn't pull it off like they did.
I'd just look like a big dork, so I might as well look like a big dork on purpose.
I'm just dissapointed it's only August.
Too much hokey, not enough pokey. Oh the things our subconscious comes up with.
I have occasional dreams about U2 concerts, and it's usually something like U2 are playing in a bar, and hardly anyone is there so I'm right there in front on a bar stool, but I don't have my contacts in, so everything's all blurry and I can't see anything.
It's now my fondest wish that you get pulled up.
GA anxiety, much?
I wonder if the guys know The Beer Barrel Polka?
I'm now completely (well, mostly) at peace with my plan of winging the GA experience. Show up late afternoon, if I get on the outer rail or just one head back, awesome, if not, soundboard it is.
I have GA for the second Chicago show and Vegas. We'll see if I start freaking out once the shows come up.
