For what it is, it's not bad. It's difficult to take a post-punk song and make it acoustic. I don't mind it. It's not fantastic, and it wasn't a great achievement or anything, but I think it worked. The lyrics actually sort of work better there, in a way.
 
I generally think that if an artist is to cover a song, they have to give the audience something different from the original, for me that's the only thing that justifies it, getting a new look into it, if not, well, we have the original and I don't really like karaoke, of course I want the artist to be able to sing or play and to treat the song with respect.

I don't find the Glay cover so bad, just different, I prefer U2's original song, I'm a fan, but that doesn't necessary mean that I don't find a value in the other one, but the cover of Desire seeems completely superfluous to me because it is exactly U2's without U2's quality.
