Window In The Skies Video

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

Great video!! Definately very different from their usual. Thanks for the find Edgette!!

I love the ending with Frank Sinatra :D

this video will win a lot of awards, and tuns a postive out of a so-so song.

I believe that it is a wonderful video. A very moving and spiritual one about gratitude, thanksgiving, appreciation, praise, rejoicing, celebration, joy because the gift of music and the vocation/calling of music = is a window TO the skies and a window FROM the skies. Think of all the ways music, in particular good music, has positively influenced us, shaped us, been there for us throughout our life - in good times and difficult times, how music has been a form of prayer. “Turn each song into a prayer.” (U2 – Always)

I agree with an additional layer of interpretation by scha: “Personally I love this video, and I think this is very adequate for the 30th anniversary. For me it says that although now they are also in the Pantheon of Music Legends, they have not forgotten the reason they started all this: because they were fans of music.”

I loved it  Cool concept. I know this is the wrong place to be saying it, but it's not always about the U2 eye candy  *ducks flying objects*

That's brilliant! Quite a visual history of rock and roll, in just over 4 minutes!

I don't hear a Beatles influence in the song at all, though... sounds very U2 to me!

I think that might be a young George Harrison towards the end there... definitely Frank Sinatra at the end, though.

The message is beautiful, the video is catchy.
Of course, this is just my two cents....

The screencaps are not very good as I am not a guru of making them at all, but I think they are recognizable.

Thank you for tthese ...it helped when I went back to look at the video again :)

LOL! That's exactly what I thought.

Love the song but I'm not sure about the video. I mean, I think it's pretty original but I'm not quiet sure if I like this idea for this particular song.
