I wouldnt go as far as calling the album a flop, but it is definately dissapointing that it could be about to drop out of the top 40.

i think youve summed it up quite well there with the prodigy. i dont understand how magnificent being in high radio play hasnt led to an increase in album sales. and its doing unbelieveably bad on iTunes.
I dont think we can say that people dont like U2 anymore in the UK - look at 18singles chart position, i expected it to re-enter top40 9certainly not top 20) but expetced it out of the top 100 within a week or two. at this rate it will be outselling NLOTH before long.
Todays midweeks and U2 are BACK into the top 40 in the UK at #36.
global - holds at #6. impressive given there are 3 new entires above them.
sales however at a rather low 82,000
