This can be summarized with one sentiment:
The band released some 3D imagery and even the stadium plans prior to any tickets going on sale. Whomever purchased any ticket to any show had to know there was a chance of his view being blocked/skewed/partially blocked etc.
IT WAS YOUR CHOICE TO BUY A TICKET WITH THIS KNOWLEDGE.
Otherwise you did not have to buy a ticket and someone else could have attended these shows that will end up being hard to get in to.
I am not saying everyone should be thankful for getting into the building, but to purchase a ticket and then complain about the POSSIBILITY of part or all of your view being blocked is ludicrous.
Just don't go if you are so worried.
Furthermore, I bet I could explain how someone's view can be blocked no matter where you are in the stadium.
GA: you could be in the second row to the stage and be stuck behind someone really tall.
GA: You could have to go to the bathroom and then end up at the back o fhte stadium
UPPER TIER: You could be above the claw and not be able to see
LOWER TIER: You could be behind the stage and the band might not turn around all night.
LOWER TIER: You could be right next to the stage and want to sit the whole show while the person in front of you stands.
I could go on, but the main point is that if you try, you could find a problem with almost any seat or spot in the stadium. If you are going to go on about obstructed views and were worried prior to purchaing tickets, you could have purchased a ticket in a different location.
Actually, I have the perfect solution.
Buy three tickets to each show: a GA, a lower tier, and an upper tier. When you get to the show, go to each spot and see where you have a better view.
Can we please move on and go back to obsessing about the stage design - I really think after seeing the scale of the truss the views will actually be better than I first thought. The further away from the truss, the better the view will be as its scale minimizes.
Be happy you are going to the show - if your view is obstructed, move to somewhere else in the stadium and stand there - no big deal.
