Nooo... You don't know what I mean I guess... With Popmart and Zoo-TV it was clear what the show was about; The stage, the videoart, the clothing, the attitude, the flyers, the new songs... It all marked the tour's concept... Media, Irony, Consumpion, Politics... But most of all, irony of course
This tour is just a rocktour, nothing more! No irony on media, consumption and politics really... Just rock! And of course we as U2 fans see an african section, a war section and a hope and love section... But that is not a/the tour concept! That's just a feeling that evolved during the tour... U2 didn't sit down in the beginning penning a war section and a hope and love section...
That is what I mean... With Zoo-TV and Popmart it was all planned... All the politics (and irony) were part of the show, and the general publics sees that! This tour, there is no clear concept and all the speeches of Bono don't fit in the show really... Some like it, and some don't...
